RESEARCHERS

In the course of almost 60 years of Institute's existence, its activities were headed by following scientists: Borivoje Drobnjaković, Mirko Barjaktarović, Branislav Kojić, Atanasije Urošević, Milorad Vasović, Petar Vlahović, Milka Jovanović, Desanka Nikolić,  Dušan Bandić, Nikola Pantelić, and Dragana Radojičić.

Besides above mentioned, many other zealous and diligent experts contributed to the Ethnographic institute during past years – some of them were: Aleksandar Belić, Dušan Nedeljković, Aleksandar Deroko, Milenko S. Filipović, Petar Ž. Petrović, Dragoslav Antonijević et al.

Nowadays, the Institute has an expert and renewed research team with Dragana Radojičić, PhD (head of the Institute), and heads of the projects as the team's leaders.

Besides 27 researchers, the Institute employs three other anthropologists, two of whom run the library, Biljana Milenković-Vuković and Aleksandar Janković, and Marija Đokić being the secretary of the projects and of Editorial board of Institute's publications.

Institute's secretary Nevenka Spasojević, together with above mentioned collaborators, takes care for the quality engagement of researchers.
